Jephonne Roy is our Senior Litigation Attorney. She holds a bachelors degree in Social Science from Mercer University. Attorney Roy received her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Attorney Roy has always been a leader and was not afraid to pursue her dreams of becoming an attorney, even in her mid-thirties with a family of her own to support. She excelled in school, and received the highest grade in class, earning her the Cali Award. She has been litigating family law cases since 2014 and has a passion and love for both family law and litigating in the courtroom where she excels. Attorney Roy believes that keeping clients abreast in their cases helps to ease the anxiety and overall uncertainty that comes with family law cases. She is a firm believer in communication being key to all attorney/client relationships.
Attorney Roy’s background gives her the empathy necessary to relate to clients because she has gone through a tumultuous divorce and had to deal with child support services personally. She can relate to the frustrations and disappointments that a lot of people feel during one of their most difficult times, because she has experienced it first-hand prior to becoming an attorney.
Attorney Roy believes in giving back to her community through volunteer work and believes whole heartedly that being a family law attorney is what God intended and purposed for her life.
She never feels like she is working because she truly enjoys what she does. Attorney Roy is a mother of six (6) ages; 20, 16, 10, 10, 10 and 4. She has a blended family and understands the importance of keeping the children at the forefront of decisions. She has been married to her husband Marcus since 2015 and enjoys reading non-fiction books and traveling.
